Instrument Processing Specialist | Jacksonville, FL | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Instrument Processing Specialist with 3+ years of experience located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12-month contract opportunity.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring that all surgical instrument sets and equipment are properly maintained. Responsible for tracking lost and broken instrumentation and maintenance of digital records of instrumentation in Instrument Tracking System software. Performs weekly missing instrument audit reports. Ensures that these responsibilities are carried out according to established directions designated in procedure manual. Functions as a team member, supporting department activities providing optimal instrument and equipment processing. Functions as a patient advocate. Responsible for performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient.

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Instrument Processing Specialist with 3+ years of experience located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated expertise in tracking, maintaining, and managing surgical instrument sets, with a strong understanding of SPM software
- Proficient in using computers and software programs like PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills/ the ability to interact effectively with team members
- High school graduate or GED or three years instrumentation experience in a hospital setting.
- Certified Central Service Technician Certification
- Certified Instrumentation Specialist Certification
