Cybersecurity CIAM Developer Lead

Location: DC, SA ATC, STL ATC, or Remote (May require 20% onsite work)

Client : USPS (Federal Client)

Role Description:

Responsible for activities such as program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Lead day-to-day tasks for a small team of developers for a Ping (ForgeRock) CIAM implementation. Create a strategy to cutover from the legacy system. Support the creation of a project plan and ensure the implementation aligns with the plan. Raise implementation risks to project manager and assist in issue resolution.

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a USPS Sensitive Clearance - ship or Permanent Residence/ status required.
  • Must not have travelled outside of the US for a combined period of 6 months (or longer) within the last 5 years.

In this role, you will lead a team of developers and engineers designing and implementing a ForgeRock CIAM solution. System components include ForgeRock AM, IDM, DS, IGA, and IG. The solution will require extensive custom scripting (JavaScript) and providing oversight for team members. You will work closely with your Agile delivery team to refine and meet requirements to replace a legacy CIAM solution. You will also work with your team to onboard specific applications for authentication. You will ensure consistent, quality delivery by guiding your team through difficulties and removing external hindrances.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the CIAM implementation is implemented according to industry best practices.
  • Lead your team in developing and implementing processes to:
  • Onboard new applications for authentication through standard protocols
  • Create application-specific security policies to secure authentication
  • Bring user identities into the AM solution from one or more sources
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for your team and review deliverables to ensure quality
  • Educate about and advocate industry standard best practices
  • Stay current with new technologies and products related to CIAM and make recommendations for their use
  • Support the migration to the CIAM solution with JavaScript solutions.

Required:

  • Ability to obtain a US government security clearance
  • At least 8 years of experience designing and implementing IAM solutions.
  • At least 4 years of experience implementing ForgeRock IAM solutions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of: CIAM functions and implementation principles, ForgeRock AM and IDM, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) APIs
  • Thorough knowledge of: Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Java
  • General knowledge of: Web Development, Agile development methodologies, and at least one major cloud service provider (CSP) AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Preferred:

  • Possession of a ForgeRock technical certification
  • Possession of an industry-standard cybersecurity certification, such as CompTIA Security+ (ISC)2 SSCP
  • Experience working in or with the US federal government
  • Possession of a US government security clearance
