Salesforce Development Engineer

Introduction: As a Salesforce Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team on Salesforce development, with a focus on Apex, Salesforce.com, and Field Service. You will have the opportunity to develop technical knowledge within the team and drive architectural reviews to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.

Please note:  This is a contract to hire role, candidates requiring sponsorship or work visas are not eligible. 

Responsibilities:

• Code reviews and coaching team members on Salesforce development best practices
• Develop a technical roadmap for Salesforce projects
• Conduct architecture reviews and technical health assessments
• Manage the software lifecycle for Salesforce applications
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions for team members

Requirements:

• Expertise in Salesforce development, with a high level of proficiency in Salesforce Field Service
• Fluency in APEX coding and experience with code reviews
• Proficient knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience in Salesforce architectural reviews and major releases
• Ability to lead and coach others in Salesforce development
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership and technical staff
• Clear, concise, and well-written documentation skills
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on working with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Certification in Salesforce development is preferred
