RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Security Engineer III to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage Okta Identity Governance solutions, including workflows, policies, and configurations
* Develop and maintain Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes to ensure seamless identity lifecycle management
* Configure and manage attribute synchronization, delegated flows, and custom attributes in OIG
* Integrate Okta with various enterprise applications, directories, and cloud platforms
* Configure and conduct periodic access reviews and certifications for privileged and non-privileged accounts
* Monitor and resolve issues related to user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access assignments
* Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Okta workflows
* Collaborate with internal teams and Okta support
* Monitor the health and performance of the Okta environment
* Ensure compliance
* Partner with stakeholders to define the target state for the OIG implementation
* Act as a subject matter expert for Okta Identity Governance
* Hands-on development/coding and implement Okta Workflows
* Create and maintain automation scripts
* Implement access governance and access request workflows to ensure proper access control and certification processes
* Conduct access reviews and certifications
* Work closely with IT, security, and application development teams
* Provide support and troubleshooting for identity and access management issues
* Design and execute rigorous test plans to validate the migrated OIG solution's functionality, performance, and security
* Collaborate with security and engineering teams
* Maintain detailed documentation
* Generate reports and metrics to track effectiveness and efficiency
* Provide ongoing support to users during and after the migration
* Monitor the OIG implementation for optimal performance
* Complete the assigned engagement tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
* Certified as Okta Certified Administrator is mandatory
* Okta certified Developer certification is mandatory
* 6 years of IT professional experience
* 4 years of IT Security experience
* Proven experience (3+ years) working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in a complex enterprise environment
* 3+ years of experience working with Okta Identity cloud and its core functionalities
* More than 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing custom identity solutions with Okta
* Experience using Okta API Access Management to secure APIs
* Experience using Okta REST APIs and knowing how to pass the correct API parameters in requests
* Experience with identity lifecycle management, attribute synchronization, and custom attributes
* Experience assigning and unassigning apps to users using Okta Users and Groups APIs
* Experience using Okta APIs to query logs and events
* Strong expertise in Okta Identity Governance
* Knowledge of identity security concepts
* Understanding of the design principles of Okta APIs
* Understanding of the various Okta supported OIDC and OAuth flows, and knowledge of when to use them
* Understanding of how an Okta policy and the rules associated with that policy affect API calls and responses
* Knowledge of how to enforce Okta multifactor authentication for users in client apps
* Knowledge of how to interpret the common Okta API error codes
* Strong understanding of IAM concepts
* Familiarity with security best practices and secure coding principles
* Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting
* Proficiency in integrating Okta with enterprise systems, directories, and cloud platforms
* Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
* Analytical mindset
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
