RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Application Developer in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop cloud-based data management systems
* Build interactive Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports using advanced formulas, LOD expressions, and best practices
* Manage Tableau Server administration: users, groups, permissions, security, and scheduling data refreshes
* Create KPIs, perform detailed data analysis, and ensure data quality
* Develop BI solutions and visualizations using Tableau and Cognos (Reports, Cubes, Extracts)
* Write technical specifications based on business requirements
* Handle security administration, release management, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in Cloud Data warehousing, data analysis, BI Reporting, enterprise and business information system architectures, and system engineering
* 3-5 years of experience developing Cloud-based (AWS) data solutions
* Possess high level SQL (Preferably in Oracle and Snowflake)
* Experience with data warehouse-based operations, analytic functions and query generation
* Strong SQL skills for data validation and dashboard development
* Advanced knowledge of Dashboard performance optimization
* Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks
* Strong DW-BI Skills; Data modeling and advanced Reporting experience
* Extensive experience in Tableau portal functionality
* Experience with Cognos Query Studio, Powerplay Studio, Event Studio
* Knowledge of ETL & Snowflake Concepts
* Strong problem solving & analytical skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
