• JOB DESCRIPTION:
• The Senior Project Manager II will oversee and manage two critical projects. The selected individual will play a key leadership role in coordinating large-scale system delivery efforts, specifically supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) components of the program.
  • Provide end-to-end project oversight for two concurrent initiatives under the MMIS program.
  • Manage and report on project scope, schedule, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure collaboration between technical, business, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Support project execution in compliance with state and client standards, governance frameworks, and PMO methodologies.
  • Facilitate status meetings, risk reviews, and change management activities.
  • Ensure successful delivery of project milestones and maintain consistent communication with leadership.
  • Monitor performance against key metrics and escalate issues as necessary.
  Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5 10 years of experience in MMIS (Medicaid Management Information Systems) projects.
  • 5 10 years of experience managing large-scale DDI (Design, Development, and Implementation) projects.
  • 1 3 years of experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while ensuring team accountability.
  Preferred Background:
  • Experience in healthcare IT, particularly within state Medicaid or public sector systems.
  • Familiarity with state-level MMIS modernization efforts and data integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and enterprise-level delivery methodologies.
