We're looking for a Cyber Security Tech Engineer to:

design, develop, and improve the technology services that will protect our network and applications and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
see that proper controls and procedures are implemented at all levels while ensuring that our services comply with required certifications and governance policies.
apply a broad range of software engineering and automation practices, from analyzing our cybersecurity needs and developing new features to automate testing, deployment, reporting and analytics
provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new network security technologies to support and enhance our existing suite of services and
build DevOps pipelines to streamline deployments
integrate observability into our solutions, monitor product health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues

Your team

You'll be working in the Network and Application Protection team in Nashville, TN, USA focusing on delivery of technology services and solutions for detecting and preventing cyber threats. We are a global team aligned under the GOTO Technology Information Security Office, dedicated to implementing and expanding network perimeter and API security solutions for our bank.

This role is critical for ensuring our services are effectively implemented in compliance with the regulatory and internal policies, and enhanced consistently to maximize their ROI.

Your expertise

IT engineer with a bachelor or master degree and experience in software development, DevOps, automation and data analytics.
ideally, 8+ years of experience in a similar position focused on cybersecurity technologies
able to code in Python, Bash, PowerShell and develop software with technologies like PowerBI, Gitlab Auto DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, AKS, Helm, Azure SQL, Functions, Monitor and Microsoft Sentinel etc.
understands network security technologies such as Akamai Prolexic, Azure DDoS, WAF, API protection, IDS, IPS, SSE etc.
produces secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
strong communicator with skills for technical writing, presentations and business collaboration
agile mindset with experience in Scrum methodology, a keen interest in learning new technologies, and the patience to evaluate multiple options and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
