Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in Portal, Application, and Scripted API development, with a strong background in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and integrations to Workday HR. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow solutions-particularly around hardware and software asset management-and ensuring thorough technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:





Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow Portal and Custom Applications

Implement and maintain Scripted REST/SOAP APIs for integrations and data exchange

Lead HRSD configuration and development, including case management, onboarding, and lifecycle events

Integrate ServiceNow HRSD with Workday HR for employee data synchronization, provisioning, and workflow automation

Architect and customize Hardware & Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM) modules, including discovery, CI relationships, and asset lifecycle

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and deliver scalable solutions

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing ServiceNow workflows, client scripts, business rules, and UI policies

Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, design specifications, and configuration guides

Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to junior developers and support team members





Required Qualifications:





3+ years of handson ServiceNow development experience

Proven expertise in Portal, Application, and Scripted API development

Solid experience implementing and customizing HRSD modules

Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with Workday HR (REST/SOAP based)

Strong knowledge of Hardware & Software Asset Management, including extensive customization of HAM/SAM features

Proficiency in JavaScript, Jelly, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow platform architecture

Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices, upgrade processes, and security configurations

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail





Preferred Skills:





ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer certifications

Experience with other ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM)

Handson knowledge of Discovery, MID Servers, and Orchestration

Prior exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Strong technical writing skills and experience producing design and userguides
