Qualcomm's SoC implementation team is seeking talented engineers to work on synthesis, timing constraints, formal verification, power analysis, STA and CLP for premium tier chips. This is a great opportunity to join Snapdragon implementation team responsible for SoCs in sub-3nm nodes in mobile/AI/Auto space. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required and proficiency in handling tools such as Design compiler, Fusion compiler, Primetime, Conformal low power , LEC. Scripting skills in tcl , perl or python is desirable.
Principal Duties and responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Pay range:
$108,000.00 - $162,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus). - Develop constraints for physical power aware synthesis, low power multi voltage domain checks, static timing analysis and power aware formal verification.
- Work closely with RTL design, physical design teams to optimize area, performance and power.
- Generate, review and validate clock domain crossing, design constraints to achieve timing closure of complex soc cores.
- Tabulate metrics results for QOR comparison. Analyze trade off in area power and performance.
- Manual and conformal EcOs for post netlist modifications.
