Description

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role involves overseeing and maintaining the network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, and providing technical expertise across a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain network performance to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and wireless devices to support organizational needs.
Implement and manage firewall technologies to safeguard network security.
Administer Active Directory, including user management and permissions.
Oversee LAN operations and troubleshoot connectivity issues as they arise.
Manage cloud-based systems and technologies to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Conduct regular network assessments and address any vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
Collaborate with other departments to support their technology requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to employees regarding network-related issues.
Develop and enforce network policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Proven experience with Cisco networking equipment, including routers and switches.
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies and network security protocols.
Proficiency in Active Directory administration and user management.
Hands-on experience with LAN setup, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Familiarity with cloud-based systems and technologies.
Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment and manage a hybrid network setup.
