This position is hybrid with Tuesday-Thursday in office.
The candidate must be available for offsite visits on Mondays and Fridays as well.
The office is located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Manager for Substation Programs. This position is responsible for various substation programs across the service territory. These programs will involve multiple projects at various stages of execution. The Project Manager should be able to effectively prioritize multiple projects executing at the same time. This team manages multiple projects in various stages of the project lifecycle, with some projects in engineering, others in construction, and others in closeout. The candidate will also be integral in project prioritization by influencing stakeholders on overall program execution strategies to allow for successful implementation per budget and schedule.

Responsibilities
Drive projects to resolution by engaging appropriate stakeholders independently.
Perform site walkdowns at substations and gravel areas.
Drive to job sites.
Prioritize multiple projects executing simultaneously.
Influence stakeholders on overall program execution strategies.

Required Skills & Experience
PMP Certification
5-10 years of experience.
Ability to navigate the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to learn new company software.
Access to transportation/car to travel to job sites.
Strong stakeholder engagement/communication skills.
Financial Acumen.
Ability to understand and act on technical action items.
Self-motivated individual to progress projects.

Preferred Skills & Experience
4-year degree, preferably in Engineering.
