SALESFORCE TESTER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Perform functional, regression, UI, UAT, and end-to-end testing across multiple Salesforce modules and customizations.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and business analysts to validate features and enhancements.
  • Verify and validate changes related to Apex classes/triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and custom objects.
  • Test Salesforce integrations with external systems (e.g., APIs, middleware, third-party applications).
  • Use testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, TestNG, or Katalon for test automation where applicable.
  • Document test results, raise and track defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.
  • Support data validation, including imports, exports, and ETL testing for Salesforce data loads.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and platform best practices in testing

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of QA/testing experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial cloudetc.).
  • Experience writing and executing manual test cases for Salesforce features, flows, and automation.
  • Working knowledge of Apex testing concepts and validation rules.
  • Familiarity with SOQL queries for data validation and test setup.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Provar, or Katalon.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or ALM
  • Experience with Salesforce test automation frameworks or tools like Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or Tosca.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
  • Salesforce certification (Admin, Platform App Builder, etc.) is a plus.
