Job Description
We have an immediate need for a Senior Manager Business Intelligence. This will be a hybrid role out of Northfield, IL. You will be responsible for leading a team of business intelligence and analytics analysts who are responsible for developing and maintaining departmental business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions, as well as identifying future org structure and resource needs for new areas of FP&A.
Responsible for delivering business intelligence, visualization, reporting, and analytics solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally to design, develop, and implement appropriate analytics solutions and for communicating highly technical analysis and data road-mapping to executive, non-technical audience.
Develop, monitor and report department KPIs and implement solutions to improve the quality and reporting of data.
Set strategy for FP&A and advanced data analytics integration and data governance. Identify, prioritize, and execute against a data and analytics strategy for the future for FP&A.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$132,600.00 - $199,160.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

- Understand and assess current FP&A data processes, tools, and skill sets.
- Recommend and gain buy-in on go-forward strategy and optimal working alignments with IS, GRA, and FP&A teams, including data architecture, data governance, best in class technology, and future org design by effectively communicating highly complex solutions in a simple to understand way.
- Help strategically prioritize critical, high-value analytics and lead and/or assist in leveraging data to influence decision making.
- Identify key areas of opportunity within FP&A or broader data management to create meaningful and insightful analytics and gain buy-in from key stakeholders
- Drive process improvements through the management of Business Intelligence tools, reporting, visualization capabilities, and automation.
- Support new business initiatives, system integrations, and other major change management impacting financial reporting systems and tools.
- Create high value relationships with key stakeholders and business partners including: CFO, EVP Sales, SVP Sales Ops, VP Data analytics
Management responsibilities:
- Oversee major projects/programs/outcomes
- Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning
- Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related degree.
- Master's degree in Analytics preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics.
- At least 7 years of dashboard development experience, Tableau or other similar technology.
- At least 7 years of experience using SQL for data analysis and performance
- At least 7 years of experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with and practical application of Machine Learning and AI including languages such as Python
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing them as they work.
