Lead Full-Stack Engineer / Ruby and React / Chicago

This Chicago-based company is looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to join their tight-knit team. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Chicago, IL.

This B2B online marketplace connects companies with vendors to simplify the buying process. They're looking for a Lead Engineer who's comfortable navigating ambiguity and obstacles while leading projects. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating a platform with vendors and 3rd party tools. You'd be expected to contribute across their stack of Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, and MobX. They're operating on a hybrid basis in Chicago, IL.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in JavaScript
• 6+ years of experience in React.js
• 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Based in Chicago, IL

Desired Skills & Experience

• Expertise with API integrations
• Experience owning or leading a software project
• Experience with the full SDLC
• Experience working on a small team
