Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Big Data Developer with strong expertise in big data technologies and real-time streaming frameworks. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Hadoop ecosystem and Kafka streaming, and must be proficient in either Scala or Java.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Big Data solutions using Java , Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka.
• Implement and optimize real-time data pipelines using Kafka streaming.
• Work closely with data scientists and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver high-performance data solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of data systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in Scala or Java.
• Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Big Data technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Hadoop (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce)
  • Hive
  • Kafka (Kafka Streams / Kafka Connect)
  • Scala or Java (must have)
• Experience with performance tuning and large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
