We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proofpoint Engineer/ Email Security Engineer for migration of our Email Security Gateway environment from Mimecast to Proofpoint, while ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft Exchange Online. The ideal candidate will work closely with our internal Email Team (experienced in Exchange Online and Mimecast) to design, implement, test, and support the new Proofpoint environment without compromising our existing security posture or disrupting mail flow.

Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Proofpoint deployment project and support
  • 5+ years of experience in migrating from Mimecast and integrating with Exchange Online
  • Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira
  • Provides regular updates, proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilities
  • Prior knowledge of and experience with implementing the following Proofpoint products/modules
  • Extensive experience configuring, managing, and securing Exchange Online
  • Should have supported an organization of at least 2,000 or more user accounts
  • Mimecast Email Gateway deployment, configuration, and management experience
  • Secure Email Gateway (SEG)
  • Targeted Attack Protection (TAP)
  • Account Takeover Protection (ATP)
  • Email Fraud Defense (EFD 360 Unlimited)
  • Secure Email Relay
  • Supplier Threat Protection
  • Continuity+
  • Email DLP & Encryption
  • Adaptive Email DLP
  • Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and be open to receiving feedback on your own code
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking; Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with team members
  • Pacific Time Zone working hours are required; occasional/Part-time onsite is a plus
  • Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders
  • Communication approach: verbal, emails and instant messages
