Location- Juno Beach, FL need only local

Duration- 6 months

Interview- 1st round virtual and 2nd round onsite

Client is seeking a highly skilled Mid Senior UX Designer to support a major digital transformation initiative with an enterprise organization in the energy and utilities sector. This role combines user research, UX/UI design, and cross-functional collaboration, with an emphasis on designing intuitive digital products including AI-enabled interfaces for internal and external users. The ideal candidate is confident, curious, and able to lead design conversations, challenge assumptions, and deliver user-centered, pixel-perfect digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Discovery
Conduct user and stakeholder interviews to understand needs, pain points, and workflows.
Review existing personas, prior research, and documentation to ground design decisions.
Capture requirements and challenge the status quo to ensure optimal design outcomes.
Define process maps, task flows, and other foundational UX artifacts.

UX/UI Design & Prototyping
Design intuitive, user-centric digital interfaces aligned to business goals and user needs.
Build low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
Deliver pixel-perfect responsive UI designs that comply with ADA AA standards, Material Design, and the client s Enterprise Design System (EDS).
Conduct usability tests and feedback sessions with users and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the UX Lead and data science teams to design UI for AI-centric products.

Facilitation & Collaboration
Lead design workshops, conversations, and ideation sessions with cross-functional teams.
Work closely with product owners, SMEs, developers, and data science stakeholders.
Communicate research findings, design rationale, and solution recommendations clearly and effectively.
Maintain strong alignment with Scaled Agile methodologies and work management in JIRA.

Delivery & Execution
Provide design assets, prototypes, and documentation supporting development handoff.
Ensure design solutions are user-centered, data-informed, and technically feasible.
Support continuous improvement and innovation across the client s digital product ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design and research for digital or enterprise software products.
    Experience collaborating with data science teams and designing interfaces for AI-driven products.
    Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Scaled Agile and JIRA.
    Expert-level proficiency in Figma for responsive design, prototyping, and interactive flows.
    Proven ability to facilitate user testing and present findings to stakeholders.
    Strong communicator with excellent documentation skills.
    Ability to design within accessibility standards (ADA AA) and UX best practices.
    Confident leading conversations, presenting concepts, and influencing decisions.
    Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a user-first mindset.
