Job Title : AWS Solutions Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solution Architect to design and implement scalable secure and high performance cloud solutions for our banking and financial services clients The successful candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of AWS compute services data integration tools such as AWS Glue and messaging platforms including Apache Kafka and Amazon SNS
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud native solutions using AWS services tailored to banking workloads
- Design and deploy compute infrastructure using EC2 AWS Lambda Amazon ECS and AWS EKS
- Develop data pipelines and ETL workflows using AWS Glue for real time and batch processing
- Integrate event driven architecture using Apache Kafka Amazon MSK Managed Streaming Kafka Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on cloud best practices
- Monitor and optimize system performance cost and scalability using CloudWatch XRay and Trusted Advisor
- Lead architecture reviews proof of concepts and technical workshops with stakeholders
- Support disaster recovery planning high availability design and business continuity strategies
- Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data governance and lineage across pipelines
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to automate deployments using CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK
- Ensure security and compliance with banking regulations eg PCI DSS GDPR RBI guidelines as an added advantage
- Contribute to the development of reusable templates patterns using plant UML and best practices for cloud adoption
Technical Skills :
Cloud Architecture
- 2 years of experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS with overall 9 years of experience
- Deep understanding of multi account AWS environments IAM policies VPC design and hybrid cloud architectures
Compute Services
- Handson experience with EC2 AWS Lambda Amazon ECS and EKS for container orchestration and serverless computing ,Data Integration ETL
- Proficiency in AWS Glue Step Functions and Athena for building scalable data pipelines Messaging Event Streaming
- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka self managed or Confluent Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS for real time data processing and decoupled architectures
Security Compliance
- Experience implementing encryption at rest in transit KMS CloudTrail
- Familiarity with banking compliance standards eg PCI DSS RBI GDPR
DevOps Automation
- Understanding with Infrastructure as Code IaC using CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK
- Understanding of CICD pipeline setup using GitHub Actions Code Pipeline or Jenkins Monitoring Optimization
- Proficient in using CloudWatch XRay AWS Config for performance tuning and cost optimization
Education Certifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional mandatory or to be obtained within 6 months
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
- Comfortable working in agile cross functional teams
