Adhesives Lab Test Technician
Position Location: Northfield, MN
Position Type: Contract (6 Months)
Position Pay: $25/HR - $29/HR (Depending on Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Responsibilities:
- This person will support Product and Design engineering services with hands-on activities which will include prototype building, management, and coordination.
- Prepare lab-scale adhesive mixtures, both solvent- and water-borne.
- Prepare test coupons and combinations.
- Perform a variety of tests to gather data on performance, and present data in numerical and graphic format.
- Evaluate and report results of validation runs, using statistics and data analytics.
- Develop, write, and implement new procedures and specifications.
- Participate in small group activities.
- Occasionally direct the work of other technicians.
Requirements:
- College degree (or working toward degree) in a science-related field. Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering preferred. Will consider Associates or High School Diploma with relevant experience.
- 1+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in formulating/characterizing adhesives and coatings, both solvent- and water-borne, or equivalent is a plus
- Proficient in most common PC-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
- Demonstrable expertise in Excel preferred
- Roll-to-roll manufacturing experience preferred
