When developing these solutions, we think about the problem end-to-end: how do we collect data from different stacks across Snowflake reliably, how do we store it efficiently, how do we present this information to the user, what actions do we take on the insights from the data?

We are actively looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a subgroup of this team. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in shaping the vision, architecture and approach for the team.

AS AN ENGINEERING MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:
  • Identify and attract top talent from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Develop the future leaders of Snowflake by providing continuous mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute.
  • Deliver exceptional results that exceed customer expectations, drive business growth, and make a meaningful impact on our industry.
OUR IDEAL MANAGER WILL HAVE:
  • 10+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large scale systems in production.
  • 3+ years experience in managing a group of junior and senior engineers.
  • Demonstrated track record of building, growing and leading technical teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence to ensure reliable software delivery meeting high quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with internal customers and establish solid, collaborative partnerships with engineers, non-technical team members, and executives
  • Strong problem solving skills and background in coding
  • BS / MS in Computer Science or related fields
