About the Role
Uber for Business helps companies move their people and things with powerful, flexible solutions built on Uber's platform. As a Partner Engineer II, you'll enable external partners to launch and grow integrations with Uber's APIs - powering everything from healthcare rides to employee travel programs. You'll be a key player in shaping how companies connect with Uber technology, working across multiple teams to make complex integrations successful at scale.
What You'll Do
1. Act as the technical point of contact for partners integrating with Uber's APIs and tools
2. Guide partners through the full integration lifecycle - from design through deployment and optimization
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to support high-impact partnerships
4. Manage multiple concurrent integration projects and unblock partners when needed
5. Provide actionable feedback to Uber's product and engineering teams based on partner needs
Basic Qualifications
1. Proficiency with RESTful APIs and knowledge of common authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0)
2. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
1. 3+ years of experience leading and supporting partner-facing technical integrations
2. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background
3. Hands-on experience implementing API integrations in real-world projects
4. Prior experience working in Partner Engineering, Developer Relations, or Solutions Engineering
5. Familiarity with Uber for Business API products (e.g., Vouchers, Health, Guest Rides, Receipts)
