Job Details
This position is responsible for performing customer support activities involving the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of complex security equipment and systems.
Responsibilities can include:
- On-site diagnosis of problems.
- Perform service and troubleshooting on all installed electronic security system products:
- Intrusion detection systems and equipment
- CCTV systems and equipment
- IP video systems and equipment
- Access control systems and equipment
- Network based systems
- Develop working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures.
- Support special projects as needed.
Experience and Qualifications should include:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Electronic Access Control, intrusion detection systems, CCTV, IP video, surveillance systems and life safety systems.
- Working knowledge of any or all of the following products; Lenel, CCure, AMAG, Hirsch, DMP, Bosch, ExactVision, Pelco, ONSSI, Milestone is a plus.
- Ability to be State certification for security service/installation required.
- Experience in commercial or government electronic security maintenance, service, or installation.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills as well as the use of tact and ordinary courtesy is a must.
Ability to be a team player.
