Job Title: Python Engineer Automation & AI Integration
Location: Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX
Employment Type: W2 Only
Experience Required: 8+ Years
Must-Have Skills:
- Python scripting for automation
- Middleware platforms (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, MQ, Kafka, etc.)
- AI/ML integrations (OpenAI, ChatGPT, Azure Cognitive Services)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and shell (Bash, KornShell)
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across provisioning, monitoring, and incident resolution
- Integrate AI tools (ChatGPT, LLMs) for predictive analytics and intelligent troubleshooting
- Ensure automation aligns with enterprise security and compliance standards
- Contribute to AI-based proof of concepts and pilot initiatives
- Provide production support for automation tools and maintain robust documentation
Required Experience:
- Expert-level Python and shell scripting
- Hands-on automation for middleware platforms
- Experience integrating AI/ML APIs into operational workflows
- Strong Linux/Unix administration background
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills in complex infrastructure environments
