Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Decisioning Architect to lead the design and implementation of decisioning strategies within Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH). This role will be instrumental in driving personalized, real-time customer engagement across channels by leveraging expertise with Pega's decision-making capabilities.

Job Summary: Under limited technical direction, the Senior Decisioning Architect owns and optimizes the decision framework with a mix of strategic design, oversight, and hands-on execution of the Pega CDH solution.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Pega implementations, with at least 3 years focused on Pega CDH.

Pega Lead Decisioning Architect (PCDLDA) or equivalent certification.

Strong understanding of NBA, propensity models, and real-time decisioning.

Experience with Pega Strategy Designer, Adaptive Decision Manager (ADM), and Interaction History.

Proficiency in integrating Pega CDH with external data sources and APIs.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services, telecom, or insurance industries.

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in customer decisioning.

Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical AI practices.

Key Responsibilities

Establishes architecture and design of decisioning strategies using Pega CDH, including Next-Best-Action (NBA), real-time containers, and adaptive models.

Defines and implements engagement policies, arbitration rules, and predictive models to optimize customer interactions, maximizing use of insights, analysis, and reports.

Collaborates with business stakeholders to translate customer engagement goals into scalable decisioning frameworks.

Implements configurations of Pega CDH components such as strategies, propositions, treatments, and channels.

Ensures consistency in communications across channels.

Ensures seamless integration with enterprise systems, including CRMs, data warehouses, marketing platforms, and third-party channel support tools.

Provides leadership and vision in partnership with Solution Architects to scrum teams.

Collaborates with technical leads to ensure alignment with rules such as integration and data transform rules.

Works jointly with Solution Architecture and Lead Developers to outline core data models and interfaces.

Works cross functionally with business stakeholders and QA leads to conduct performance tuning, simulation testing, and validation of decisioning logic.

Partners with BA to maintain documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and governance.
