Experience of planning and executing a business system implementation, preferably with Workday.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the project to ensure it is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors to drive successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of payroll systems (preferably Workday), and exceptional communication and leadership skills. This is a high-impact role that requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of the payroll implementation project, from initiation to closure.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into project objectives.
Oversee system testing, data migration, user acceptance testing and training activities
Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system implementation problems and overall system performance.
Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure successful system integration with timekeeping and benefits systems and vendors.
Write and prepare system user documentation, instructional guides, reference materials and system plans and manuals.
Develop post-implementation support plans and conduct project closeout activities including lessons learned.
