Immediate need for a talented Workday Consultant. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Mclean VA (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
  • Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
  • Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
  • Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
  • Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
  • Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
  • Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Workday HCM, Recruiting, HR modules
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of experience with Workday functional configuration with the HCM/Recruiting/compensation modules
  • At least 4 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform
  • At least 2 years of experience with calculated fields, EIBs, custom reports
  • 5+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration (HCM/Recruiting)
  • Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting)
  • Bachelor's degree
