Job Details

OneSparQ is looking for a traveling Field Service Technician for a service provider to support the Southeastern Washington area.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and set up new POS systems according to client specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance on POS hardware, including printers, scanners, and card readers
  • Install necessary software, ensure all software is updated to the latest versions, and troubleshoot any software issues
  • Diagnose and resolve any hardware or software issues that may arise, both remotely and on-site
  • Provide clients with training on how to use their new POS systems and answer any questions they may have
  • Document all services and installations accurately and in a timely manner

Required Skills:

  • 1 + years of experience troubleshooting and repairing/installing/upgrading various hardware and software
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed while working independently and managing time effectively

Additional Skills:

  • A+ or Lexmark certifications
  • Experience with POS systems and printer maintenance
  • Associate's Degree within an IT discipline
  • Experience working in retail environments through shopping hours
