Chief Solutions Architect
Key Role:

Develop solution architecture ( SA ) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision. Design architectural roadmaps for enterprise architecture ( EA ) in accordance with enterprise strategies and processes, while analyzing Intelligence Community ( IC ) client requirements and collaborating with R & D divisions to provide ongoing support. Apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Lead the development of solutions to highly complex problems. Work with a wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Assume responsibility for supervision and development of first-level supervisors or managers.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in sof tware development, large-scale Agile, including Scaled Agile Framework, and managing the development of sof tware systems and modernization efforts in forward-leaning te chn ology, such as cloud, DevSecOps, or MLOps automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks in the DoD, federal government, or commer cia l entities
  • Experience architecting enterprise systems and aligning them with government evaluation criteria and statements of work
  • Knowledge of Offensive Cyberspace Operations or Computer Network Operations
  • Knowledge of system engineering practices and ITSM
  • Ability to supervise others and lead projects and deliverables within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to work directly with government clients and help translate their goals into te chn ical solutions
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with UNIX and Linux, including basic commands and Shell scripting
  • Experience with USCYBERCOM operations
  • Experience implementing ITSM or IT Operations practices
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree in a Science, Te chn ology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
