Job Details
- Responsible for the support of Cosmos Database instances running in MS Azure.
- Ability to help design and troubleshoot related Cosmos Database issues. Help train existing DBAs on Cosmos Database.
- Assist in the data migration and implementation and configuration of Cosmos DB. Lead a team and participate in on-call rotation to support the customer.
Skills (Note those including "experience" are requirements)
5+ Years Cosmos related work experience
o Migration design and execution experience
o Cosmos data modeling knowledge
o Cosmos DB RU migration knowledge
o Cosmos DB vCore migration knowledge
o Azure Data Factory and/or Data Bricks knowledge
o API for NoSQL experience
o Application DBA skills to tune application queries and the underlying model experience
o .net SDK and Java SDK for Cosmos/NoSQL Workload optimization is important experience
