Desktop Support

Position Title: Desktop Support Analyst

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in a Technical Support or Desktop role

Experience with PCs running Windows 7 and Windows 10

In-person customer technical support background is required

Experience documenting user issues within a ticketing system

Must be able to work very well both on a team and independently

Ability to translate technical information into non-technical speak for non-technical users

Excellent customer service skills

Passion for learning new technologies and inquisitive nature

Desired Skills:
Mac experience

Bachelors Degree and/or IT certifications are a plus (must have degree OR years of experience)

Prior experience supporting Higher Education users

Description of Role/Responsibilities:

We are looking for an IT Desktop Support Professional to join a well-known education organization. The selected individual will be assisting users will all types of technical support issues including: hardware and software, Windows/Mac, application failures, printer and network connectivity. This team's #1 priority is to assist the user and does not have strict metrics for their employees. This is a Monday-Friday role.
