Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist / Developer to design, build, and optimize multi `channel digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL, AMPscript, and cross cloud integrations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Development
Build and manage marketing campaigns using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, and Automation Studio.
Develop dynamic and personalized emails using AMPscript and HTML/CSS.
Optimize segmentation using Data Extensions, SQL Queries, and data filters.
2. Marketing Automation
Create scalable automations for data imports, segmentation, triggered sends, and complex workflows.
Configure and deploy journeys, including entry criteria, decision splits, wait times, and multi step logic.
3. Data & Integrations
Manage data within Marketing Cloud, including data extensions, contact records, and subscriber management.
Work with APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, and integrations with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud.
Perform QA on data, segmentation logic, tracking, and personalization.
4. Reporting & Optimization
Track campaign performance using dashboards and reporting tools.
Analyze open rates, click through rates, conversions, and subscriber engagement.
Recommend improvements to journeys, content, and audience strategy.
5. Collaboration
Work with Marketing, CRM, Salesforce, and business teams to refine requirements.
Translate marketing goals into technical execution within SFMC.
Maintain documentation and support deployment/QA processes.
Required Skills
3 6 years of hands on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Strong expertise in:
Journey Builder
Automation Studio
Email Studio
Mobile Studio (SMS/Push)
Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and responsive HTML/CSS email development.
Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect and Salesforce CRM data model.
Strong understanding of subscriber management, send classifications, and compliance (CAN SPAM, GDPR).
Experience handling large data sets, segmentation, and personalization.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of SSJS (Server Side JavaScript).
Familiarity with Datorama, Interaction Studio, or CDP.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and advanced integration patterns.
Exposure to omnichannel marketing (email, SMS, push, advertising).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Certifications (Preferred)
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (Highly Preferred)
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
Salesforce Administrator (ADM `201) is a plus
