Role | Key Responsibilities |
Test consultant | Review patch release notes and identify patches relevant to the system under test Evaluate and prioritize available Windows patches based on severity Download the patches from Microsoft server Utilize the existing gold copy image of production environment and mimic the configuration to deploy test environment Deploy the new patches released by Microsoft to the test environment Execute tests to ensure that patches do not cause issues within existing software and configurations Assess the risks associated with patching activities and report to client teams Assist Client teams in troubleshooting the patch-related issues Ensure that patching activities align with Client security policies Collaborate with Client teams in identifying ways to implement automated patch management Conduct tool feasibility and recommend the best tool for automation Develop and maintain an automated patch management plan for VRAS system Guide Client and partner teams to implement best practices on patch management, troubleshooting and automation |
