Accounting Compliance Manager/ Auditor

Job Description:

• Come join our Compliance Product Auditing & Testing program Manager. This position is for a passionate individual who has excellent attention to detail. A person with high self-motivation who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. Has excellent communication skills.
• You will have a deep understanding of QuickBook, particularly for the USA but also the other core countries of Canada, UK and Australia. You will be hand on looking at how the QuickBooks work full end to end highlighting any area of concern particularly if the product is not compliant with accounting rules for a country. When new features are released, test in pre-production prior to release to ensure the feature is compliant. As you are ensuring the product is compliant you will require an accountant's background or very good.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience (+ 5 years)
• Expert understanding of accounting software, including how to set-up test & product environments.
• Understanding of software engineering and development practices preferable
• A track record of working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Working knowledge of business process and analytical tools
• Understanding of systems development lifecycles as it pertains to production support.

Nice to have.

• Knowledge of accounting legislation in other geos
• Good knowledge of google docs, sheets, & slides
• Ability to communicate with all levels within an organisation.
• Advance business knowledge of functional areas
• CPA
