RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse ETL Developer in Fairfield, CA.
Responsibilities:
* Senior Data Warehouse ETL Developer will monitor the jobs that are configuring in compose to track on a daily basis for any errors (more like a productions support
* Validate data - quality, accuracy
* Modify tasks to add tables and transforms
* As a Senior Data Warehouse ETL Developer, you will maintain core structure - upgrades, implementing security related tasks, monitoring latencies
* Will be the person coding but also maintaining the infrastructure around Qlik Compose
REQUIREMENTS:
SQL:
* Strong understanding of complex joins
* Performance tuning and debugging skills
* Sub queries
* Common table expression
ETL/ELT:
* Experience with SSIS
* End-to-end data loading and extraction in data warehousing
* How do build a data warehouse from scratch (including data modeling techniques) how do we design table how do we come up with ETL
Data Architecture:
* Familiarity with STAR schema and Snowflake
* Understanding of Kimball methodology
* Experience with different fact and dimension tables
* Performance tuning strategies for large datasets
* Data storage strategies for large-scale data
Data Modeling:
* Experience in data modeling and ELT architecture
* Understanding of subject areas created
Tools & Languages:
* Qlik Compose (willing to train)
* .NET or Python (preferred)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
