Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a cross-functional agile team in the Data Integrations and Engineering space. The role involves leading agile practices across complex backend data modernization and integration efforts, including enhancements to ETL pipelines and migration to newer platforms (e.g., Informatica). The ideal candidate is a servant leader who can adapt to established team dynamics while driving continuous improvement and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, coach, and motivate the agile team to improve productivity and agile maturity.

  • Lead Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

  • Coordinate and manage scope, timelines, quality, and deliverables aligned with business goals.

  • Remove team impediments and foster a safe environment for open communication and problem-solving.

  • Support the Product Owner with backlog management and prioritization.

  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and participate in Scrum of Scrums.

  • Enforce Agile SDLC best practices, tools, and working agreements.

  • Track and communicate team progress and performance metrics.

  • Enable teams to make and deliver on realistic commitments through strong facilitation and support.

  • Coordinate cross-team activities across complex, multi-platform environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a large, complex enterprise.

  • Background in agile roles such as QA, Developer, Product Owner, or Agile Coach.

  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC processes.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

  • High-level technical understanding of data engineering, ETL pipelines, and system integration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with technologies such as Python, Databricks, Informatica, or other ETL tools.

  • Familiarity with backend modernization and data movement strategies.

  • Comfortable navigating across diverse technology stacks and adapting quickly.
