3Core Systems is looking for Moody's ABS Suite Consultant for one of our clients in Deerfield Beach, FL

Role: Moody s ABS Suite Consultant

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid 3 Days a week onsite)
Duration: Long Term

Position Overview:
The team is seeking a contractor to support a multi-year project involving the migration of the current mainframe system to Moody s ABS Suite Plus. The project is being executed in phases:

• 2025 (December):Retail migration go-live
• 2026:Lease migration
• 2027:Alpha project migration

The ideal candidate will have a structured finance background, with experience in securitization and Moody s systems being highly desired but not strictly required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including investor reporting, bank reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Assist with the parallel migration process, ensuring alignment between current systems and Moody s.
• Develop, read, and interpret reports with Power BI and SQL knowledge preferred.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Accounting or finance background (CPA not required)
• Structured finance understanding, especially securitizations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with Moody s ABS Suite Plus is highly desired
• Knowledge of Power BI and SQL is beneficial

Work Location & Flexibility:

• Hybrid model preferred; local candidates expected to be on campus most days initially.
• Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates with Moody s experience.

Seniority Level:

• Mid-level to senior; not strictly a senior position, but Moody s experience may imply a more experienced candidate.

Interview Process:

• Initial round with primary contact
• Follow-up with team lead(s) and potentially another team member

Additional Notes:

• Knowledge of Moody s ABS Suite Plus modules (e.g., pool selection, collateral servicing) is most relevant.
• Flexibility on rate for highly qualified candidates with the right skills is possible.
• Structured finance experience from banks or other sources is acceptable if Moody s experience is not present.
