Description
Note: This resource will be assisting with moving equipment and imaging, but working closely with their Desktop Technicians to support other duties within their environment.
This is a entry-level position with the Desktop Support group of Charles Schwab & Co., and will focus on providing real-time support for technology problems and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) for our Schwab internal customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who enjoys a fast paced environment, has great customer service skills and a "can-do" spirit. What you'll do: Work with a team of Desktop Support technicians in one of the largest service centers at Schwab with over 6,000 users. System administration of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac OS X desktops and laptops. Provide hands on installation, troubleshooting and technology support for desktops, laptops, monitors and personal printers. Also required to provide phone support and remote assistance as needed. Deploy and reclaim computer equipment which includes maintaining asset management database with current status. Document work in various tools. (Remedy, Clarity) Provide excellent customer support to Schwab employees. Work at multiple sites. Hours 8 -4:30 or 8:30 - 5:00

** Position will be on-site in Austin- **Address is 11800 Schwab Way Austin TX 78758 What you have: - The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in technology and/or a minimum 1-3 years recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide internal Service Center environment. - A working knowledge of PC technical support of the Windows and Macintosh OS Windows 10 Windows 11 and Mac OS X is desired. - Should demonstrate strong communication skills including both written and verbal.
