Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to help elevate their cybersecurity operations and protect critical information systems. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape security strategy, guide risk reduction, and play a proactive role in safeguarding data across the organization. You ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, AI, DevOps, and business teams to foster a security-first culture while working on forward-looking challenges like AI system protection and secure cloud infrastructure.


  • Location: Onsite in AZ, TX, VA, MD, OR, NV or PA
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $90-120k/year + Benefits
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You ll Do:

Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents in real time
Lead security assessments, audits, and penetration tests to strengthen defenses
Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR
Drive security awareness programs and training initiatives for staff across the organization
Oversee and tune security technologies including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, cloud security tools, and vulnerability scanners

What Gets You the Job:

5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or related roles
Proven experience with tools like Microsoft Defender Suite, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, Nessus, and PowerShell scripting
Solid understanding of AI security risks, secure DevSecOps practices, and multi-cloud environments, particularly Azure
Familiarity with static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarCloud), and technologies such as CASB, SASE, and ZTNA
Bachelor s degree in cybersecurity or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) preferred
