You will be the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical challenges, providing high-quality support, clear communication, and timely resolutions.

What will your day look like?

As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will:
Answer incoming Help Desk calls and provide phone-based support for hardware, software, and application issues
Troubleshoot problems, resolve issues immediately when possible, or research and escalate as needed
Perform root-cause analysis and help develop checklists for common issues
Set clear expectations around resolution steps and timelines
Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
Image, configure, and set up new or reconfigured computers
Receive and manage incoming IT hardware and software
Share solutions and unique cases with the team to contribute to the knowledge base
Assist with updating IT policies and procedures
Work with hardware and software vendors as needed to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Participate in an on-call rotation when required

You will be a good fit if you have:

Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Experience troubleshooting Windows and/or Mac OS systems
Solid computer aptitude and technical curiosity
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proven problem-solving skills
Ability to build trust and confidence with end users
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including extensive sitting and computer/phone use

Nice-to-Haves:

Workstation deployment or Autopilot experience
iPhone and iPad troubleshooting experience
Experience working with a ticketing system
