Our client is seeking a hands-on Staff Engineer with expertise in Azure or similar cloud platforms, Node.js and React.js. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge solutions that help companies select the best talent. You will collaborate with a highly skilled team on impactful projects involving LLMs and cloud-based architecture in Azure.
What you'll do:
As a Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's innovative solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that help companies select the best leaders. You will lead architectural discussions and decisions to ensure that these solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure. Your expertise in web technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript will be invaluable as you develop end-to-end products on the Azure platform. Furthermore, you will mentor the engineering team and contribute significantly to their growth.
Design, develop, test, and maintain high quality software solutions.
Lead architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring that the software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
Develop and document architectural designs.
Mentor and help our engineering team grow rapidly.
Utilize your expertise in web technologies (React, Node, TypeScript, etc..) and proven track record of developing end-to-end products on the Azure platform.
Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Staff Engineer role brings a wealth of experience in building end-to-end projects. With a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related field, you have honed your written and verbal communication skills to a superior level, and are adept at project management. Your deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, enables you to evaluate and select appropriate technologies to meet business objectives. You possess knowledge of data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and big data solutions. Your proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is complemented by familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular or React. You understand RESTful API design and microservices and are well versed in at least one of the following: Django, ASP.NET, Node.js, Typescript, Laravel, Ruby on Rails. Lastly, you have knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
7+ years of experience in building a variety of end-to-end projects.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related field.
Superior written and verbal communication skills and project management capabilities.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms. Knowledge in Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Ability to evaluate and select appropriate technologies to meet business objectives.
Knowledge of data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and big data solutions.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server / Postgres and database design.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices. Should be well versed in at least one of the following (Django, ASP.NET, Node.js, Typescript, Laravel, Ruby on Rails).
Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
