Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Manufacturing Technician - Laser Cutting

The Role:

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Manufacturing Technician for Laser Cutting who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll be responsible for assisting with the preparation of new manufacturing processes, reducing downtime, reducing environmental impact and supporting production by activities by continuously improving safety, quality and productivity. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Executing improvements related to manufacturing in their assigned area
  • Troubleshooting of machines and automation on the production floor
  • Ability to solve simple problems by determining root cause and implement short countermeasures and long term solutions
  • Technical Documentation: Create accurate records of production processes, parameters and inspections
  • Analyze basic data in MS excel or other programs to initiate improvements within manufacturing
  • Ability to use and understand measurement tools for dimensional analysis
  • Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and adjust programs related to the lasers and forming
  • Manage and implement mid-sized projects at the direct of leadership
  • Addressing machine malfunctions in an efficient and expedited manner

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong technical experience with troubleshooting capability and willingness to work hands-on
  • Strong work ethic, intrinsically motivated, ability to organize work and multi-task
  • Computer skills, including the ability to prepare thorough, concise reports and justifications
  • Ability to work professionally with all levels of the organization
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5+ Years Experience in a Manufacturing setting

Where and When You'll Work:
  • This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • Travel: minimal travel (domestic and international)

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary - $50,000 - $65,000 per year + OT (when applicable). Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.

Relocation: This role is eligible for relocation assistance based on current location
