Job Title: PLM Teamcenter Business Analyst
Remote Contract
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced PLM Business Analyst with strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter to join team supporting Client’s global engineering and product lifecycle initiatives. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PLM processes, Teamcenter capabilities, and experience working with cross-functional teams in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business users (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document PLM requirements.
- Support Teamcenter implementation, enhancement, and integration projects.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and system design documents.
- Collaborate with Apple’s internal engineering teams and Wipro’s technical delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of PLM solutions.
- Conduct workshops, user story creation, and backlog grooming for PLM features.
- Analyze and improve existing PLM workflows, change management processes, and BOM structures.
- Assist with system testing, UAT, training, and post-deployment support.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment across product design, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–8+ years of experience as a PLM Business Analyst, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter.
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts such as:
- Engineering Change Management
- BOM (Bill of Materials) management
- Product data management (PDM)
- Workflow and process configuration
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA).
- Ability to write detailed functional and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with data migration, system integrations (e.g., SAP, ERP, CAD), and API knowledge is a plus.
