Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

Incumbent should be located anywhere within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK). Remote work options may be available outside of the 4-state footprint upon further review during the interview process.

Job Title: Project Manager, Program Management Office

The Project Manager at Arvest delivers large, complex projects within our bank's Program Management Office (PMO) that drive business, technology, and organizational change. They leverage their organizational skills and knowledge in both business and technology domains to lead project teams, manage risks, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager, PMO, translates project activities into business value and presents them to business and technology leaders.

What You'll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Lead the planning and execution of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and PMO standards.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and manage project plans, including schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
Implement and maintain effective project governance.
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating concerns as needed.
Track project progress, monitor performance, and take corrective actions to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders at all levels, including sponsors, business teams, IT teams, and vendors.
Communicate project updates, risks, and issues effectively to business and technology stakeholders through regular reports, meetings, and presentations.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders, fostering a positive team environment.
Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to achieve project goals.
Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and provide constructive feedback.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO methodologies, tools, and templates.
Mentor and support associates in using project management practices and tools.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; completing compliance training and adhering to internal procedures and controls; reporting any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

Toolbox for Success:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work or military experience.
3 years experience as a Project Manager with a diverse project experience background.
Demonstrated experience with multiple project management methodologies (e.g., Hybrid, Agile, Waterfall) with the ability to apply the appropriate approach based on project needs.
Knowledge of Organizational Change Management (OCM) practices.
Familiarity with project management scheduling tools such as MS Project.
Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage relationships across multiple groups, including Business, Product, Compliance/Risk, and Information Technology.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret project data to track progress, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey information to diverse audiences, including project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and collaborate effectively with individuals from different backgrounds and departments.
Proven ability to think critically, analyze problems, and develop creative solutions to overcome project challenges.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Preferred:
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Project management experience in the Banking and/or Financial Services sector
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Spaces, etc.)
Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, as well as Timelines and/or Advanced Roadmaps.
