A recognized entertainment organization in Connecticut is looking to add a new UI/UX Designer to lead the transformation of complex legacy user interfaces into intuitive, efficient, and modern experiences.


***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***


Responsibilities:




  • Design and implement a standardized user interface framework across multiple internal tools and platforms




  • Lead the re-design of legacy interfaces, focusing on improving usability, reducing data entry time, and enhancing overall user satisfaction




  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive style guide to ensure consistency across applications and teams




  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, End Users, and stakeholders to gather requirements, validate designs, and drive adoption




  • Apply user-centered design principles and Agile methodologies throughout the product lifecycle




  • Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements




Qualifications:




  • 10+ years of professional experience in UI/UX Design




  • Deep understanding of Design Systems, Accessibility Standards, and Responsive Design




  • Strong portfolio showcasing complex, enterprise-level applications




  • Proven ability to design for diverse application types and end-user devices, including desktop, mobile, and web platforms




  • Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design




  • Experience working in Agile development environments, with a track record of delivering measurable improvements in usability and efficiency




  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams




Desired Skills:




  • Experience in media, streaming, or broadcast technology environments




  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts and tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)




  • Background in designing internal tools or operational platforms




  • Familiarity with Figma, and related UI software
