Primary Job Duties and Tasks: - Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the application.
- Translate business requirements into architectural designs that align with business goals.
- Design the overall system architecture and define how different components of the interact.
- Create, customize, integrate, and optimize agents. Design workflows for agents.
- Create, test, refine prompt templates; ensure agents understand context properly; limit hallucinations; improve grounding of responses.
- Mapping out the complete journey of an agent for various tasks and customer interactions, ensuring a logical and efficient flow.
- Define topics, actions, decision flows, prompt templates, data sources, plan for security, compliance, scaling.
- Use Apex, Flows, APIs, possibly JavaScript or other languages; integrate external systems; build custom actions; connect to external data sources via Data Cloud, MuleSoft, etc.
- Ensure agents have access to correct, up-to-date, properly governed data; configure data retrieval (e.g. RAG retrieval augmented generation); manage knowledge bases and context.
- Enabling Agentforce features in Salesforce orgs; configuring permissions, user roles; setting up Agent Builder topics, actions, instructions.
- Design strategies for scaling the application efficiently as user demand grows.
- Ensure the application adheres to security best practices and compliance requirements.

- 3+ years of experience in Agentforce concepts: topics, actions, prompts, grounding, guardrails, Atlas Reasoning Engine, and integration patterns
- 3+ years of experience in with generative AI, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), natural language processing concepts, and responsible AI practices.
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce declarative tools (flows, configuration, permission sets), coding in Apex, JavaScript, or Python.
- 3+ years of experience in API Architecture and data integration.
- 3+ years of experience in diagnosing issues, analyzing agent behavior, monitoring outputs, and implementing improvements.
- 3+ years of experience with Data mapping and interpreting large datasets
- Ability to provide excellent customer support; meticulous quality of work and work product.
