Job Description:

Pay Range: $18.50hr - $22.50hr
  • The Production Operator will be responsible for operating filling and labeling equipment, performing quality checks, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting production activities while ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
  • This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to safety and quality requirements in a controlled environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, set up, shut down, and clean filling equipment inside an ISO 7 environment.
  • Operate, set up, shut down, and clean multiple pieces of equipment for quality checks and label application in a Controlled Non-Classified area.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in both digital and hard copy formats.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, general housekeeping, and support production activities outside the direct work area.
  • Follow established GMP instructions without deviation.
  • Execute highly complex or specialized work.
  • Monitor production activities proactively, resolving minor jams and downtime issues.
  • Report abnormal equipment functions or product problems immediately.
  • Operate filling, labeling, and related equipment according to established procedures or specifications.
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously.
  • Accurately complete work orders and other required documentation.
  • Safely operate all equipment and report incidents, injuries, or safety hazards promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records.
  • Inspect products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearance.
  • Perform basic calculations as needed.
  • Maintain and replenish production materials.
  • Complete general housekeeping tasks.
  • Contribute positively to the production team.
  • Take accountability for individual and team performance and efficiency.
  • Follow basic instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and email.
  • Utilize computer-based programs including Microsoft Office, SAP, and custom production applications.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 20 pounds with assistance.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
  • Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory software, Microsoft Office).
  • Prior manufacturing experience in a GMP environment.
  • Prior manufacturing experience in environments adhering to ISO standards.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (hood, shoe covers, coveralls, etc.).
Should Have:
  • 1 year of experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or filling operation.
  • Previous knowledge of SAP.
  • Cleanroom experience.
