Job Title: Senior SAP Funds Management (FM) Consultant
Location: Bethesda, MD (Remote)
Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance
Overview:

We are seeking a Senior SAP Funds Management (FM) Consultant to support a large-scale ERP program. The consultant will provide expert-level guidance in SAP FM design, configuration, and support to streamline financial processes such as general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and cash management..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on SAP FM requirements and design.

  • Design and configure SAP FM processes including Budgetary Ledger, FM Derivation, Budgeting, and AVC Controls.

  • Manage posting periods and perform period-end closing activities.

  • Ensure seamless data flow between finance and other SAP modules.

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert across multiple project workstreams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience.

  • Strong subject matter expertise in SAP Funds Management (FM).

  • Proven configuration experience with FM components such as Budgetary Ledger and AVC Controls.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu).

  • Must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting government ERP programs.

  • Familiarity with enterprise IT architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP production support, break/fix, and ticket management.

  • Working knowledge of multiple SAP modules (ECC, BW, SCM, SRM).

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional SAP teams.

  • Understanding of interface monitoring and error-handling processes.
