Job Title: IT Software Architect - OpenShift
Contract: 5 months and potential for extension
Hybrid schedule for 3 days in office and 2 days remote

Work Locations: The candidate must be local to one of the following locations:

Pittsburgh PA - Two PNC Plaza 620 Liberty Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Cleveland OH - Strongsville Technology Center 8100 Mohawk Dr. Strongsville, OH 44136

Birmingham AL - Birmingham - Brock 701 32nd St. South Birmingham, AL 35233

Note: The candidate must be authorized to work on a W2 without needing a visa sponsorship in the future.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Hands on engineering for OCP (OpenShift Container Platform)

·       Heavily involved in the OCP Administrative & Engineering work

·       Architectural type work Cross training and exposed to many different areas.

·       Communicate with customers, third-party vendors and Reh Hat's associates.

·       Troubleshooting skills and passion for problem solving and investigation.


Level 3: 4-6 YRS

Must Have Technical Skills:

·       Red Hat OpenShift or other K8s platforms

·       Red Hat Linux operating systems

·       Understand of networking and storage architectures for OpenShift / K8s.

·       Experience working with hosted applications or large-scale application deployments

·       Good understanding of Linux tools

Flex Skills:

·       Cloud experience Automation experience with AgroCD, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines.
