Job Details

Job Title: Windows Endpoint and Server Administrator
Description:

  • Candidate should have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in SCCM.
  • Strong Knowledge on Windows Endpoint Patch Management using SCCM and WSUS (Having Tanium knowledge will be added advantage).
  • Troubleshoot and fix and disruptions on the SCCM infrastructure and able to analyze and suggest/provide improvements.
  • Advanced administration skills in both software and patch deployment using SCCM in a multisite corporate environment.
  • 3rd line technical support experience in a Windows Server and workstation
  • Will be expected to manage End to End Patching process of Windows Servers and Endpoints - this may include providing metrics and reporting to customers and attending meetings with Customer.
  • Create custom test environments to provide proof of concept before implementing into production environment.
  • Develop implementation strategies and deployment schedules.
  • Validate deployment plans for compliance reports.
  • Provide weekly reporting of patching activity.
  • Maintain the health of the SCCM environment including clients, servers and distribution points.
  • Knowledge of Thin client patching (Having HPDM knowledge will be an added advantage).
  • Assist in the creationupdating of SCCM documentation.
  • Roll-out patches and software via SCCM.
  • Vulnerability remediation knowledge on Windows Servers and Endpoints.
  • Knowledge of server and client application administration.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills on windows servers and Endpoints.
  • Candidate needs to have basic background in Citrix, Xendesktop, Desktop Delivery Controllers (DDC's), VMware, ESXi administration.
  • Own, Support & Administer the Citrix environment having components like XenApp, XenDesktop, PVS, Storefront, NetScaler
  • Resolving normal issues related to Citrix environment.
  • Knowledge on Citrix XenApp 5 and 6.5, Citrix XenDesktop 5.5, Citrix component Sanity checks, Citrix Receiver (Client), GPO / Citrix Policies, MS Terminal Services, Monitoring / alerting experience.
  • Installation and configuration of SCCM server
  • Installation and configuration of SQL server for database and SQL Server Reporting services
  • Deployment of Secondary site and Distribution Points
  • Deployment of SCCM site server roles and configuring site settings
  • Configure features like OSD, Patch deployment, software distribution, H/w and S/w inventory, Asset intelligence, DCM, Reporting
  • Client agent deployment - Client push and manual installation for domain joined and cross domain clients
  • Installation of client agents and management of Workgroup computers
  • Verify SCCM log files and troubleshoot installation issues
  • Executing ADR, deploying software update creating maintains window
  • Create / Update Systems Documentation and Operations Standards / Procedures
  • Should have Knowledge on Package and Application deployment
  • Should have knowledge on Incident management, Service request and Change management
  • In depth knowledge on adding systems to collections, create update packages for Microsoft security bulletins/ hot fixes, and create packages for 3rd party software Knowledge on Patch deployment process.
