Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Netscaler Network Engineer to join their team. This role is based on-site in Plano, Texas, and/or Redmond, Washington. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and hands-on experience with Netscaler ADCs, focusing on managing and troubleshooting load balancing, application delivery, and security solutions. With a requirement for 5 to 7 years of experience in network engineering, this position promises a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a critical infrastructure setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage computer networks including switches, routers, WAPs, WLCs, and load balancers.
  • Install and configure network equipment to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Update and manage firewall configurations and virus protection software to safeguard network integrity.
  • Monitor system performance to identify and resolve inefficiencies and potential issues promptly.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery procedures to ensure continuous network availability and data security.
  • Provide escalated issue resolution through comprehensive troubleshooting and effective communication.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and documentation to maintain high standards of network management and security.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest in network technologies and security protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in managing and configuring Netscaler ADC products including Netscaler MPX, SDX, VPX, CPX, and BLX.
  • Strong understanding of OSI Layer 3/4 and Layer 7 load balancing techniques and configurations.
  • Experience with SSL/TLS offloading and digital certificates management.
  • Proficiency in implementing Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) and configuring authoritative DNS (ADNS).
  • Capable of setting up and managing high availability (HA) configurations using HA-INC or floating IP techniques.
  • Skilled in DDoS attack mitigation and traffic management using Netscaler capabilities.
  • Ability to integrate Netscaler with other security appliances like Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint FWs.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework concepts such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work in 24x7 rotational shifts and readiness to work extended hours and weekends when required.

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires the employee to work on-site.
